Respected local attorney, Tom LaCroix announces he is retiring from LaCroix & Hand P.C.

In everyone’s life, a time comes to turn to the next chapter. It is now time for our beloved partner, Tom LaCroix, and his wife Linda LaCroix to turn a new chapter in their life. After almost 47 years of practicing law, Tom LaCroix is leaving the practice to embrace his retirement years.
Tom’s priorities have always been his family, clients, friends and the community. His immediate family including his wife Linda, children: Katie and her husband Adam, and Dr. Betsy and her husband Dr.Kyle, have always been his pride and joy. Throughout his career, Tom has always spent as much time as possible with his family, enjoying trips to Lake Powell, attending school events and participating in many ongoing family activities.
To Tom, his clients were the second most important thing in the world. He not only knew them as individuals, but also took the time to learn about their families and even their furry friends. Endless hours were spent making sure that he exceeded their expectations to receive the best results possible. This type of dedication and service is the reason many of Tom’s clients from all over the world became and remain close friends today.
Tom always says, “a stranger is a friend I haven’t made yet.” He is a friend to everyone regardless of their status in life. Known for his commitment and follow-through, Tom’s friends always joked, “if you could understand what Tom said, he would do it and you could consider it done.” He always makes the time in his schedule for all his many friends and is known and respected for his responsiveness and reliability.
Tom spent literally thousands of hours serving his community and participating on many local boards including Community Hospital, Grand Junction Regional Airport and numerous others over the last 47 years.
His law Partner and long-term, best friend Amy Hand and her husband Mark Hand will carry on the law practice at the same 7th & Rood Avenue location. Tom’s remarks as he closes this chapter in life are as follows: “It is always hard to move on from something that you have built and watched grow and flourish for so long. Though I am starting a new chapter today, I take comfort in the fact that this practice will be in the experienced hands of the two best people and attorneys I know.”
LaCroix & Hand P.C. would like to wish Tom and his family a happy and healthy retirement. Thank you for all you have given to this practice, for the respectable reputation you have helped build, and for bringing everyone you know a bit of much needed kindness and grace.
